If you were in the shoes of celebrities, you’d understand that it isn’t very easy to live in front of the camera and not want to look your best, especially when age waits for no one.
The pressure to remain attractive to their fans and relevant in the industry is one of the top reasons these celebrities have resorted to plastic surgeries of every kind to maintain a certain image and youthfulness.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t always pan out well and they are left with some botched procedures that mostly last for a lifetime or may necessitate another surgery.
Some of the names you won’t find on this list include Pricilla Presley, Elvis Presley’s former wife who had a botched silicone cheek injection and other procedures that left her face looking flaky.
There’s also Carrot Top whose cosmetic surgeries has completely changed him from a cute chap to someone else, unrecognizable.
Here are 10 Celebrities who have had to live with bad plastic surgery
1. Linda Evangelista

It is very common among supermodels to get plastic surgery because they need to maintain a certain shape and image while they are still active in the industry.
Linda is one of those who had a great career in the early to mid-2000s but had to go MIA sometime after 2016.
She later revealed that she had undergone cosmetic surgery that left her face damaged. She admitted to having CoolSculpting on her face a couple of years ago and that damaged her face and left her unrecognizable.
The procedure is known to shrink (freeze) fat cells, but in her case, it only increased their size and multiplied them.
In as much as this procedure has worked for many others in the past and in recent times, it, unfortunately, didn’t serve Linda well and did the opposite of what she expected.
Evangelista sued CoolSculpting’s patent company, Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc. for $50 million in damages for what happened to her after her procedure. She said she hadn’t been able to continue working ever since because of how damaged her face was.
2. Joan Van Ark
Former soap opera star, Joan Van Ark was a regular face on ‘Dallas and Knots Landing’ back in the day. However, after undergoing a couple of plastic surgeries that went terribly wrong, she had to leave the scene.
Joan had Botox laser treatments, facelifts, brow lifts, cheek implants, and dermal fillers all to keep looking good and defy aging.
Unfortunately, all these added up to damaging her face and leaving her almost unrecognizable and so came the end of her once beautiful career.
3. Courtney Cox
The beautiful actress, producer, and director, Courtney Cox has had many plastic surgeries in order to defy aging while maintaining her place in the entertainment industry.
Cox admitted that she regrets getting all the surgeries she had just so she could continue to maintain a look for the public.
One of the procedures she’s had and regrets is dermal fillers which she’s had a lot of and gave her face a distorted look, damaging her image.
Although the Friends actress has dissolved all the dermal fillers, we can’t get the images of her distorted face out of our minds.
She also had a facelift and fillers to her cheeks, eyes, and lips that were all dissolved after she began to regret her actions.

If you are a fan of English movies then you probably know Bobby Norris from The Only Way is Essex.
How he got to be on this list is from a beard implant that distorted his face and left it swollen and puffed up.
The initial rumor that made rounds about his damaged surgery was that he had a botched facelift and chin reduction.
However, with the truth out, it is unfortunate that Bobby finds himself living in one of the worst plastic disasters ever. It has also prevented him from getting jobs in TV and has greatly impacted his career negatively.
In addition to the beard implants, Bobby Norris also had Botox, lip fillers, brow line lift, septoplasty, and rhinoplasty.
6. Mickey Rourke

It can be argued that she is one celebrity who has abused plastic surgery and has had a lot of procedures done to her face.
At over 60 years old, the businesswoman and fashion mogul has had laser treatments, fillers, face, eye, and brow lifts, and Botox that has left her looking like a botched aesthetic poster woman.

Of course, this list won’t be complete without mentioning how cosmetic surgery altered the look of the ‘King of Pop’.
Back when the pop star was alive and came out to the public looking different from what we initially were used to, media reports suggested that he had undergone extensive nose surgery.
This rumor, the singer vehemently refuted and denied, admitting to only 2 rhinoplasties.
However, after his death, Dr. Klein who had worked on the singer’s face revealed that he rebuilt Michael’s nose. The doctor revealed that Jackson had a complete collapse of the cartilage in his nose.
