When the news of a famous person dies, one of the first things that comes to the mind of a lot of people is ‘What was the cause of death.’ It doesn’t even matter if the person died in old age or not.
For actor Adrian Schiller who died on April 3, 2024, the same question came up as soon as the news broke out. At the time, the cause of his death was unknown because the announcement only claimed that he died ‘suddenly and unexpectedly’.
The actor was 60 years old at the time of his death and was well-known for his roles in productions such as The Last Kingdom which ran on Netflix, The New Look, and Victoria, as well as voice acting for video games and theatre plays.
The Last Kingdom Actor, Adrian Schiller Died Unexpectedly
On February 21, 2024, Adrian Schiller turned 60 years old but a few weeks later, the news of his death rocked the entertainment industry and the world at large.
On April 3, 2024, the actor died in his home in the UK. This information was announced the next day by the late actor’s agent for 30 years, Scott Marshall Partners, who stated that Adrian Schiller’s death was ‘sudden and unexpected’.
There were no further details at the time of this unfortunate announcement as it was still fresh news. However, arrangements were later made for the burial and it was slated for May of the same year with a larger memorial slated to be held later the same year.
Before his unfortunate demise, Schiller featured in a January episode of Father Brown, a BBC detective series.
As a stage actor, he was also a part of The White Factory cast at the play at the Marylebone Theatre in 2023.
Following investigations, an autopsy revealed that the British actor died of a major ischaemic stroke. Scott Marshall Partners further made this revelation.
In simpler terms, Adrian died after suffering from clogging in his blood vessels which prevented blood from flowing to the brain. Reports from his agent confirmed that he died almost immediately after the stroke hit and didn’t suffer any pain.
Following the death of the actor, a woman who identified herself as Adrian’s sister shared a link for a fundraiser to help Adrian’s partner Milena, and their young son, Gabriel.
The fundraiser was pegged at 100 pounds but with people’s generosity, the amount garnered was way more than that.
