Catherine "Capa" Mooty is the co-founder of Luxeliner, a mobile boutique that sells fashionable clothes, accessories and gift items. Catherine Mooty (born Catherine Cecile Person), was formerly married to Jerry Mooty, nephew of the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, until 2003. Mooty is a lawyer and a founding member of the law firm McCathern and Mooty LLP. The law firm is based in Dallas and is involved in various businesses. In 2006, Mooty founded the real estate development firm Trevista group of which Catherine is a partner.

It's not clear when Catherine Mooty and her estranged husband got married but it's a fact that they parted ways in 2013.


Meanwhile, Jerry moved on with Samantha, his longtime friend turned girlfriend while Catherine began a relationship with Troy Aikman in 2016.


2. It is the second marriage for both of them

This marriage is the second attempt at marital bliss for both the fashion icon Catherine Mooty and her husband Troy Aikman.

Aikman was previously married to Rhonda Worthey, from 2001 to 2011 and they had two kids, Alexa and Jordan. Worthey was the Dallas Cowboys publicist when Aikman was playing for the team.

However, the couple called it quit after a decade of marriage. Aikman released a statement to that effect, saying that it was a difficult decision for him and Rhonda to make but they are however very committed to raising their children. After the divorce was finalized, it was reported that his ex-wife received $ 1.75 million as part of the divorce settlement.

Troy Aikman wedded the woman he calls the "love of my life" at a low key ceremony in Santa Barbara California. The wedding ceremony which took place on June 3rd, 2017 was witnessed by close family and friends including their children from previous marriages.

It was reported that the couple exchanged their marital vows on a beach while the reception took place at the Four Seasons hotel in Santa Barbara.

In June 2017, the sportscaster and former quarterback shared an Instagram photo of himself and Capa Mooty after proposing to her while they were vacationing in Lake Como, Italy. It reads, "June 2, 2017 - a special day as I proposed to the love of my life". The former player had been a single Dad for about five years before he began a romantic relationship with Capa Mooty in 2016.

Mooty and her erstwhile husband are co-parents of two sons, Luke and Val, who are both students at the Episcopal School of Dallas. Likewise, Troy Aikman shares two daughters, Jordan Ashley and Alexa Marie, with his ex-wife Rhonda Worthey.

In 1993, he signed an eight-year contract worth $80 million, which made him the highest-paid player in the NFL at the time. Moreover, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of fame and the Pro football hall of fame in 2006.

Presently, Troy Aikman works for the Fox as a color commentator and is also the founder of the Troy Aikman Foundation. Capa Mooty is blessed with an entrepreneurial spirit as witnessed when she polled resources with some of her friends to start a mobile fashion boutique in Dallas.

The boutique known as Luxeliner sells fashionable items such as clothes, accessories and gift items and is the brainchild of Catherine Mooty and Wendy Poston, Jennifer Clark, Charlotte Jones Anderson and Alyson Griffith. The four friends bought a FedEx Truck and transformed it into a boutique. In an interview with  DFW Style, Capa and Clark explained that "want it to feel like you are shopping in your best friend’s closet, and that they "focused on buying what we love best"  and "are striving to be like a Kitson-on-Wheels."

Meanwhile, the business which was launched in 2012 in Dallas now has branches in other parts of the nation and some other countries.
